Once the improved, fully operational modeling job board launches on Independent Modeling, the advanced format will be adapted here, as well as on Florida Modeling Career.
We are now accepting modeling job posts, and it’s a free service. There is no obligation to buy anything to use this modeling job board and the Tampa Bay Modeling site.
If anyone uses a modeling job as bait to sell you something, or they require you to buy anything in order to be considered for a job, report them and walk away. To be legitimate, you must be considered for a job without any obligation to buy anything. If they change the terms of the job without warning, or the job is not worth doing, feel free to decline. Be aware of what fair rates are, and your value as a model. If you are a new model, and are not sure about what you are doing, please avoid any high risk modeling jobs, such as glamour modeling.

The Tampa Bay Modeling modeling job board is a regional modeling job lead listing offered free of charge. There is no obligation to buy any product or service to use this board; this is not for advertising modeling jobs, but to present free leads. This modeling job board does not cost us anything, other than a little time, to make it available to professional models, which leaves us no incentive to re coupe overhead (If someone pays money to advertise a modeling job, it is often a scam designed to sell you services by baiting you with a job offer, especially since they have to make back the money that they have expended). There is NO OBLIGATION for any model to buy any product or service advertised, or offered, on this web site in order to use our modeling job board; we offer all modeling job information as-is, and do not withhold any information such as contact information (modeling scams will often steal modeling job information, post it on their web site for models, withhold contact information, and then make the model sign up for their web site before the model can obtain information on how to contact the modeling job. TAMPA BAY MODELING JOB BOARD UPDATES

UPDATE 02/04/11: A Beta test version of the Tampa Bay Modeling modeling job board is now online (especially since we've been getting job posts). We will be testing Independent Modeling's modeling job board before it launches; after the Independent Modeling modeling job board launches with its adjustments, those improvements will be retro-added to this board. All modeling job boards will tie in together.

This section will activate in early 2011, when the Independent Modeling modeling job board is fully operational. Links to Tampa modeling job-relevant posts on the Independent Modeling modeling job board will be listed here, along with support links mirroring those on the Independent Modeling board.

NOTE 12/02/10: We are weeks away from re-launching our modeling job board. We expect to have it operational then. Our modeling job board will be for Tampa modeling jobs, and it will cross reference in "channels" with parallel modeling job boards on Florida Modeling Career, Advanced Model, and on Independent Modeling itself. The main modeling job board for all of our sites will be on Independent Modeling. Additionally, the featured models on all of our sites will link directly to our modeling job boards.

As a final note, please be patient with the slow updates on our modeling job boards. Due to the slow economy, there are very few legitimate modeling jobs out there. Many, many modeling job offers are modeling job scams. Our research indicates, for example, that as many as 90% of the modeling job offers on free online classified sites are scams, either set up to rip off models or to exploit them in some way (and some are downright illegal, with con artists committing felonies by acting as a modeling and talent agency or agent without being licensed). Other modeling job ads on there are wastes of time (models needed, but won't get paid for their work) and too risky (models needed to do nude and glamour work at low pay or NO PAY). Models: If you are a professional model who has a modeling portfolio and composite cards, you need to get paid for modeling jobs (collaborative work with other established professionals are not modeling jobs)! Also, avoid all modeling job offers which claim that "no experience is necessary"; those modeling jobs are often scams. If you are an aspiring model with no experience, or are a model who is just starting out and who does not have a portfolio, YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS TRYING TO BOOK MODELING JOBS OR TO BOOK WORK AS A MODEL (and if you get scammed by a modeling job scam after we tried to warn you, you deserve to be scammed, in our opinion! Too bad those "artistic nudes" that you took with the aspiring photographer will come back to haunt you and trash any potential that you have for a good modeling career.....)! You have to invest in a modeling portfolio and career tools first, from professionals who are not advertising modeling jobs to bait you or who are referred to you by a modeling agency. Models are flagging ads off, and the scams are being reported, but that's not enough. Models needs our modeling job boards, on Tampa Bay Modeling, Florida Modeling Career, and Independent Modeling, which will have more legitimate modeling jobs than any other modeling site.

Find professional models! There is no charge to post modeling jobs or to respond to them. This modeling job board is free, and more art directors and businesses are realizing that model and talent agencies are now optional. You must read and agree to our terms of use before using this board. Please note that some posts may not be actual jobs and may be set up to test models. These posts will help models identify certain model job scams and will lead to more information.
