April Showers.
You know what they say - March comes in like a Lamb and out like a Lion, and April showers begin as spring gets into its groove. Well, there is a lot going on here at Tampa Bay Modeling, and this spring ought to be the one to watch as our site gets a ton of updates, new features, and some improvements on some old ideas that have proven themselves.
MAIL BAG
Monica
Stevens had the plug pulled on her popular monthly Mail Bag last fall,
and now it is coming back! She is back from helping work on the launch
of Tampa Bay Film and Tampa Bay Acting, and she had to spend some time
at Independent Modeling assisting their staff with some projects (she
is still helping with that, as the Independent Sites will see large
updates this year). She’s back, her mail bag will be in a new
smaller and streamlined format, and she’s ready to get back to
work. For April, she will catch up on the loose ends of her last mail
bag that she had been working on (November 2006 will be reformatted
for April 2007, and the “Stick Figures” letter will finally
be posted) and add the best letters from the past six months.
We are finalizing the format and the file structures of the mail bag.
Expect Monica’s resplies to be shorter and more to the point,
as our web site editor now has more work coming with monthly Mail Bags
on Tampa Bay Film and Tampa Bay Acting. Tampa Bay Film’s Mail
Bag Editor will be a filmmaker by the name of Sphinx (is this right?
Don’t quote us on this, as we are not sure), and Tampa Bay Acting
will be helmed by actor Brian Steel, who used to run Independent Acting’s
(Tampa Bay Independent Actor) Mail Bag back when Monica was running
the Independent Modeling (Tampa Bay Independent Model) Mail Bag all
those years ago. This will be some good stuff, and you can expect more
quality control, meaning not every letter will get published.
We do know this much so far regarding Mail Bags for Tampa Bay Modeling’s
regional modeling sister sites when (or if) they ever come online- Their
Mail Bags will be referred to ours. Enough said.
PAPERWORK
Independent
Modeling is about to get vouchers, and so are we! Expect new forms,
flyers, and other modeling tools to become available.
INTERACTIVE TUTORIALS
We’ve
been working on these for a while, and the first ones are almost ready
to be brought online.
PICTURES
We are
in the process of adding more modeling pictures from Tampa Bay photography
and design services company (and sponsor) Aurora PhotoArts photography
and design, as well as pictures from Orlando modeling photographer Craig
Huey. We are also looking into adding pictures from other Tampa Bay
photographers, and may partner up with the Tampa based Round Table Photography
Association, found at TampaBayPhotographers.Com! This is great!
