Studio photography is not nearly as cost effective, or appropriate, for modeling portfolio work.Keep in mind that this picture, for a modeling portfolio, was taken by a qualified modeling portfolio photographer, C. A. Passinault, for a specialized, professional market, which is modeling. A wedding photographer or a portrait studio will not be able to give models what they need for an effective modeling portfolio, as you have to know what you are doing!This is the 12th picture in our Tampa Bay Modeling online portfolio. Yet another Tampa model shows a marketable look in their portfolio. The best models are capable of the most looks, and are not locked into a single look!Agency model or independent model? It doesnt matter, anymore, especially in Tampa Bay. Professional models like this one can be booked without going through an agency, saving both the model and the job agency fees.Modeling portfolios need at least six looks, and by looks, we mean different looks. A composite cards needs at least five, on average, with a headshot on the front, and four different looks on the back of the comp card. New Site By Mid November

Our new site was supposed to be finished tonight for a launch tomorrow, but the EOS web team seems to be gathered around Independent Modeling, Independent Acting, Independent Performer, TALON, and Frontier Society at the moment. They might finally see those updates, especially since the team finalized the design spec for TALON last night and solved the remaining issues that were lingering with it. Better get ready to hear about portfolio and image banners, which are a part of a design solution and is a really cool idea that we haven't seen before. It seems that TALON is the key to getting all of the sites online and on track, and it is one of the main reasons for the hold up on updating the sites. TALON and the Featured Talent profiles are going to to have a really good look to them, and we know because we've seen the design specs and artist sketches (those soon-to-be-famous image banners are key)! While we will link to Independent Modeling and TALON, Tampa Bay Modeling will have its own resource section, and we want everyone to know that while it will share TALON design technology it won't be another TALON. Unlike TALON, we will not list everyone and will only feature the best on this site; professionals who we can recommend. We expect competition to be listed on this site to be fierce!

The design spec of our new site was further polished last night, and the team came up with a TON of NEW IDEAS. Some of these ideas are really great, too. Our new site may be a showcase for certain photographers pictures (finally, we are getting cool pictures), and it will be every bit as advanced as Independent Modeling is. Expect a new NEWS SECTION modeled after theirs; the new Tampa Bay Modeling site is designed to be fully compatible with other modeling resource sites like our Independent Modeling allies. Speaking of resource sites, we've heard that the Model Industry Today project has been cancelled as a stand-alone site and the features and ideas behind it will now be applied to the upcoming Advanced Model Site- Advanced Model will now report on the modeling industry as a whole as well as help all those models see the light of the new modeling industry of booking work without an agency. So, will that Advanced Model site be an online magazine or a hardcore, cover-every-angle modeling industry site? Maybe a little of the former and a lot of the latter, blended well and topped off with a cherry. We're hearing that big-time models like Tyra Banks may be aware of the site soon after it launches.

Could it be that Tampa Bay Modeling's resident leader model Danielle Cooper (the great Coop!) has ordered us to cover more of Clearwater and Pinellas County in 2006? That's just the start- We will have a new feature where we'll cover every area in Tampa Bay and how those areas pertain to modeling. Could it also be that the new site may retain the colors that we are currently using or refine the color choice? Could be........ Looks like it's going to be a good year for setting standards and appropriate rates in the Tampa Bay market. We love all of you Tampa Bay modeling agencies and photographers out there, and you'll know it before long! With the three top modeling web sites working together, it's going to be a real interesting year, and we can't wait!
